DEVINA SHAYAR was born in London and raised in between Uganda in Africa and London. The name Shayar means "poet" in Hindi. Devina was always into writing songs from the age of 14 and singing medic chants which she learnt at her hindu school in London on Saturdays. "Sloka Brahmanandam parama sukhadam" is chanted in praise of the Guru who removes darkness from our hearts and takes us to the infinite self. "Gu" means Guhya or darkness and "Ru" means remover. He who removes our ignorance and makes our life happy, comfortable, enlightened and blessed. "The reason why I decided to put it into a beat is because I love the idea of incorporating chants for other to listen to and feel the positive energy. I am a true believer in unity and that all religions and cultures are one." DEVINA SHAYAR wurde in London geboren und wuchs auf zwischen Uganda in Afrika und London. Der Name Shayar bedeutet "Dichter" auf Hindi. Devina schreibt Songs seit sie 14 ist und singt schon immer vedische Chants in ihrer hinduistischen Londoner Samstagsschule. "Sloka Brahmanandam parama sukhadam" ist ein Lobpreis des Gurus, der die Dunkelheit von unseren Herzen nimmt und uns zu unserem unbegrenzten Selbst führt. "Gu" ist Guhya für Dunkelheit und "Ru" wörtlich Entferner. Er, der uns unsere Unwissenheit nimmt und unser Leben froh, angenehm, erleuchtet und gesegnet macht. "Der Grund, warum ich mich dafür entschied auf den Beat zu chanten ist: Ich liebe es, für andere Chants hörbar und so die positive Energie fühlbar zu machen. Als wahre Gläubige der Einheit aller Religionen und Kulturen."

“Exit, Voice, and Loyalty” is a socio-political and economic model
by Albert O. Hirschman.
The two opponents, “exit” and “voice,” are integral components
of every human organization: in times of crisis, members vote to withdraw from a community or they raise their voices in protest.
As a balancing element, "loyalty", which favors discussion over breaking off relationships, does not, however, completely dismiss
the option of breaking off dialogue.
The EXIT.VOICE model makes it possible to interrogate the current global political situation on a large-scale — migration, globalization vs. nationalism, and the crisis of the West — as well as on a small scale — exodus from the country to the city, somewheres vs. anywheres, and inner conflict.

"Exit, Voice, and Loyalty" (Abwanderung, Widerspruch und Loyalität) ist ein soziopolitisches und wirtschaftswissenschaftliches Modell von
Albert O. Hirschman.
Die beiden Opponenten "Exit" und "Voice" sind integrale Bestandteile jeder menschlichen Organisation: Mitglieder wählen in Krisenzeiten den Austritt aus der Gemeinschaft, oder sie erheben ihre Stimme zum Protest. Als ausgleichendes Element wirkt "Loyalty", die das Gespräch dem Abbruch der Beziehungen vorzieht, ohne diese Option gänzlich aus den Augen zu lassen.
Die aktuelle weltpolitische Lage lässt sich im Großen — Migration, Globalisierung vs. Nationalismus, Krise des Westens — wie auch im Kleinen — Abwanderung vom Land in die Stadt, Somewheres vs. Anywheres, innere Zerrissenheit — mit dem EXIT.VOICE Modell hinterfragen.
